PROCESSING & TECHNOLOGY

The "Farm-to-formula" Blueprint

From harvest to processing, we maintain absolute control over our production chain to guarantee maximum freshness, purity, and product consistency.

By bridging advanced agricultural management with precise biotechnology, we convert our raw crops into highly stable, active ingredients ready for commercial integration.

The Horizontal
   Flow Timeline

STEP 01
Sustainable Harvest

Hand-picked "Noah" cultivars are harvested at their absolute peak molecular ripeness on our local, pesticide-free Malaysian plantations

STEP 01
STEP 02
The 36-Hour Race

Fresh Gac fruit is highly perishable and begins deteriorating rapidly after harvest. We transport our harvests to our nearby processing labs in climate-controlled units, initiating processing within a strict 12-hour window. While at the facility, we separate exocarp, flesh, aril and seed for further process. All the parts are then processed into different raw materials, puree, liquid extract, oil and freeze-dried powder.

STEP 02
STEP 03
Cryo-Preservation

High-temperature processing can contribute to the degradation of heat-sensitive nutrients. We utilise ultra-low temperature vacuum freeze-drying (-40 to -60°C ) to instantly lock the fruit’s complete molecular structure while removing the moisture from the puree.

Molecular Precision

Utilising supercritical-fluid extraction, we produce pure Gac oil without the use of conventional solvent-based extraction, creating a clean, consistently processed raw ingredient for further applications.

NUTRITION PROFILE

The Nutritional Power of Gac

Gac fruit has a distinctive nutritional profile comprising naturally occurring carotenoids, vitamins, minerals, protein, unsaturated fats and dietary fibre. At the heart of this profile are four key carotenoids—lycopene, beta-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin—which contribute to the fruit’s vivid red-orange colour and natural antioxidant profile. Together with its wider range of nutrients and functional compounds, they form the foundation of Gac fruit’s nutritional value.

Four Key Carotenoids in Gac Fruit

LYCOPENE

75x

more concentrated
than tomatoes

A red carotenoid pigment with antioxidant properties that gives Gac fruit its distinctive red-orange colour. It helps neutralise free radicals and has been studied for its role in protecting cells from oxidative stress.

β-CAROTENE

15x

more concentrated
than carrots

An orange carotenoid that contributes to Gac fruit’s vibrant colour. The body can convert beta-carotene into vitamin A, an essential nutrient that supports normal vision, immune function, and skin health.

LUTEIN

30x

more concentrated
than pumpkins

A yellow carotenoid naturally present in the eye’s retina and macula. It contributes to the eye’s protective macular pigment and helps filter high-energy blue light, supporting normal visual function.

ZEAXANTHIN

140x

more concentrated
than ripe corn

A yellow-orange carotenoid concentrated in the central area of the macula. It works alongside lutein as part of the eye’s natural protective pigment, helping filter blue light and manage oxidative stress.
